Phoenix Fitness

Our gym is located over at the Surmount Complex, right across the road from the Iscon Temple on S.G. Highway. If you know that part of Satelite in Ahmedabad, you know it can get pretty busy with traffic and people. We opened up Phoenix Fitness because we wanted a simple place where people could just come in and get a workout done without all the extra noise and distraction. It is up on the F-19 floor of the building. The equipment is all there, and we try our best to keep it clean and working, though sometimes the weights don't get put back where they should be by the members. That is just part of running a gym. We aren't trying to be one of those high-end clubs with expensive juice bars or fancy towels. It is just a place to sweat. The lighting is a bit dim in some spots and sometimes the music we play is a bit loud, but the regulars who come here seem to like the atmosphere. We spend a lot of our time on the gym floor, fixing a machine or just catching up with people. It gets really warm in the afternoons, but we have enough fans to keep the air moving around. We have seen a lot of people come and go over the years. Some stay for a month and some have been with us since we first opened the doors. We are just a local spot for people to exercise.
