Patel Fiber Glass & Chemicals

Our business, Patel Fiber Glass & Chemicals, is located at Plot No. 1224, Phase-3 in the GIDC area of Vatva. It is an industrial spot, very busy with lots of people moving around. We deal with fiberglass and various chemicals used in manufacturing. Most of our days are spent mixing stuff and molding parts. It is sticky, smelly work, but someone has to do it. We have a small crew of workers, some of whom have been with us for over ten years. We treat each other like family, even when we argue about whose turn it is to clean the vats. The office is just a desk with a computer and a lot of old files piled up. We aren't interested in looking like a big corporation. We just want to make sure the products we send out are solid. Vatva is a good place for a business like ours because everything we need is close by. We see the same faces every day at the local tea stall. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up at 9 am, do our jobs, and go home to our families. It is a simple, hardworking life. Sometimes the machines break down and we spend the whole afternoon fixing them instead of producing. That is just the way it goes. We don't complain much; we just get on with it until the day is over.
