Shivanand Polymers (Unit-Ii)

We are located at Plot No. 3306 in Phase 4 of the Vatva GIDC. This is our second unit, which we call Unit-II. Shivanand Polymers has been growing, so we needed this extra space for the machines. The building is a standard industrial shed. Inside, it smells like heated plastic most of the time. We have several injection molding machines running day and night. The shifts change at 8 AM and 8 PM. It’s a busy routine. We make a lot of different plastic parts for various uses. Some are small, some are big. We keep the scrap in bins to be reused later. The workers here are mostly local guys from the nearby neighborhoods. We’ve got a small area for lunch and tea breaks. Sometimes the power goes out in the GIDC, which is frustrating, but we deal with it. We keep our tools on the wall so we don't lose them. The floors get swept every evening before we head home. It’s a bit cramped with all the raw material bags stacked up, but we make it work. We don't have a big corporate team. It's just us and the machines. If someone calls, we usually pick up, unless the machines are too loud to hear the phone. It's just a regular factory doing its thing. We've been at this plot for a few years now. The landlord is okay, and the neighbors don't complain much about the noise. It works for us.
