Ginza Machinery Mfg. Co. - Arm Stitch

Vatva is a crowded place, especially around Phase 3 where our shop sits at Plot No. 1106/07. If you walk down D-Road, you’ll hear the sound of metal and motors long before you see the sign for Ginza Machinery Mfg. Co. - Arm Stitch. We focus on the industrial stitch side of things here. It's a lot of grease, heavy parts, and trying to keep the workspace organized, though it usually ends up a bit messy by Friday. The floors are concrete and always have some kind of mark on them from moving the heavy equipment around. We have a few guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines inside and out. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it pays the bills. Sometimes we have to stay late when a big shipment of parts comes in late from the port. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main floor with a window so we can see what's going on. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. Most of us are in old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. Dealing with logistics in Ahmedabad can be a headache with the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the city. We just try to do the work right so we don't have to redo it later.
