If you’re looking for Plot No. 413 in Phase-2 of GIDC, Vatva, that’s where you’ll find Clartech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. It’s a standard industrial shed like many others around here, but it’s ours. The main door stays open most of the day to let a bit of a breeze in, though it doesn't help much when it's really hot outside. Inside, the noise of the machinery is pretty constant. We’ve got a group of people who have been with us for a long time. They know how the machines sound when they’re running right. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. Most of us are in work clothes that end up with a few grease spots by lunchtime. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or what’s happening in the estate. There’s always some construction or road work happening nearby in Vatva, so getting here can be a bit of a crawl sometimes. We focus on the engineering side of things, sticking to the drawings and making sure the parts are solid. We don't really do big speeches or fancy presentations. If someone comes by, they usually just walk right into the workshop to find whoever they need to talk to. It’s a straightforward way of working that seems to suit everyone here just fine. No one is trying to be something they aren't. We just keep the machines turning and handle the jobs as they come.
