You’ll find us over at Plot No. 519/1 in GIDC Vatva. We’ve been set up in Phase-4 for a long time. Being in the food business means things are always a bit different than the chemical or metal shops nearby. Harihar Foods Pvt. Ltd. started out small and we’ve just stayed here, making sure the floor stays clean and the bags are packed right. It gets pretty hot in the summer, especially near the processing area, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. Most of the staff live nearby, so they walk or bike in to work. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. It’s mostly just managing the inventory and making sure the supplies come in when they’re supposed to. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes of the GIDC, which can be a bit of a headache when we’re in a rush to get a delivery out. We spend a lot of time checking batches and making sure nothing is sitting around for too long. It’s noisy and busy, but it’s a living. We know the other business owners on this street, and we usually help each other out if someone needs a tool or a spare hand. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to keep the operations running smoothly every day without too much fuss.
