You can find Frg Spann Technik at Plot No. 3755 in the Phase-4 area of GIDC, Vatva. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good while. The name sounds a bit technical, and that’s because the work we do involves a lot of precision. But if you walked into our shop, you’d see it’s just a normal bunch of people working hard. We have our lathes and milling machines set up, and there’s always a fine layer of metal dust on everything no matter how much we sweep. The morning starts with a quick talk about what we need to get through by the end of the day. We don’t have a big human resources department or anything like that. If someone has a problem, they just talk to the person in charge. It’s a small team, so everyone knows everyone’s business, which can be good and bad. We’ve spent a lot of time getting the machines dialed in just right. It takes a bit of patience and a lot of grease. The GIDC is a noisy place with trucks and motorbikes everywhere, but once you get inside our plot, we’re just focused on the metal in front of us. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to keep the shop running and do a decent job for the people who come to us. It is a steady life here.
