Creative Engineers

Creative Engineers is tucked away at Plot No. C1-4317 in Phase-4 of the GIDC in Vatva. It is one of those places where you can hear the work happening before you even see the sign. We spend our days surrounded by metal rods, plates, and a lot of heavy tools. The workshop is not the cleanest place in the world, but it is where everything happens. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Usually, if the phone rings, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and picks it up. Working in Phase-4 means dealing with the dust and the constant movement of trucks on the narrow roads. We’ve got a small team here at Plot C1-4317, and everyone knows their job. There is a lot of measuring and double-checking because mistakes just waste time and material. We don't spend money on fancy office furniture; we’d rather have better blades for the saws or more oil for the machines. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It is a simple way of working. We take the jobs as they come, try to do them right, and keep the shop running as best as we can. It’s a practical life in a very practical part of Ahmedabad's industrial zone.
