PELICAN CASHEW TECH

You can find Pelican Cashew Tech at 203, Shubh Industrial Estate. We are right opposite the Mahavir Industrial Estate and just behind the main Kathwada GIDC area. It is a busy part of town, always filled with the sound of transport vehicles and people moving crates. Our space is on the second floor of the building, which can be a bit of a pain when we are moving heavy machine components, but we have a lift that usually works. We spend our days putting together machinery used for processing cashews. It is specific work, and we have learned a lot about it just by doing it every day for years. The office is just a small partitioned corner with a couple of desks and a lot of paper files piled up. We prefer being out where the tools are anyway. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all have lunch together on the shop floor around noon. We don’t really do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people who know us in the industry or who have seen our machines running in other factories. The floor is usually a mess of wires, metal frames, and toolboxes, but we know where everything is. It might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but it is just how we work. We focus on finishing the machines so they can be shipped out to the farms and processing units.
