Our place is at Plot No 496 in GIDC Phase-4, Vatva. If you know the area, we are right behind the Indo German Tool Room and across from Angiplast. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so there are always trucks and workers moving around. We do printing work here. The shop is filled with the smell of ink and the sound of the rollers turning. We have different machines for various types of jobs, whether it is labels or paper printing. It gets pretty loud when the big presses are running at full speed. We have a small office upstairs where we check the proofs and talk to the customers who drop by. The stairs are a bit narrow, but we are used to it. Most of our staff have been in the printing trade for a long time, so they can tell if a color is off just by looking at it for a second. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just take the files, set up the plates, and start the run. Sometimes we stay through the night to finish a big order that needs to be out by morning. There is always paper dust everywhere, no matter how much we sweep. It is a gritty, busy environment, but we like the feeling of seeing the finished stacks of print ready to be packed and shipped out. It's just what we do day in and day out.
