Our place is Plot No. 44 in the Amarnath Estate, which is right along the Naroda Dehgam Highway. We are quite close to the Khari Canal, so if you are driving down the highway, you just have to look for that landmark. Being in an industrial estate means it is always busy with trucks and loading work. We handle various food products here and have been doing it from this same spot for quite a few years. It is a practical building, mostly just storage and a small office area where we keep our logs. The highway can get very dusty, especially in the summer, and the heat in Naroda is no joke. We usually start our day very early to beat the sun and get the heavy lifting done before it gets too hot. There is no air conditioning in the main area, just a few ceiling fans that hum all day. We are a small group of people, mostly just family and a few neighbors who help out with the work. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising because we prefer to just focus on the stuff we are packing. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready setup, but it works for us. If you come by, you’ll likely see us in our work clothes, probably busy moving crates or checking the latest shipment from the suppliers. We just keep our heads down and get the job done every day because that is what matters most to us.
