Orbit Plastic

Orbit Plastic is out in Odhav, over at Madhav Estate, units 50 and 51. We are right behind the Safari Hotel and close to the Barcelona Circle. If you know the Odhav area, you know it’s full of small and medium workshops just like ours. We work with plastics, which means our machines are running pretty much all day long. It can get quite hot in the warehouse, especially during the summer months here in Gujarat. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning everywhere; we’re mostly out where the machines are. It’s a straightforward business. We take raw materials and turn them into whatever our customers need. Some days are smooth and everything works perfectly, other days we’re fixing a leak or waiting on a delivery. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time now, so we know the other owners in the estate. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just make plastic goods. If someone needs a certain part or container, they come by and we talk about it. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the quality of the plastic as it comes out of the molds. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to run a decent shop and make sure the parts are okay before they go out. It’s a busy life but it is ours.
