On Load Gears

We are situated at number 338 in the Sidco Estate over in Ambattur. On Load Gears is a mechanical kind of place. Being in an industrial estate means there is always the sound of machinery and trucks moving around. We work with gears and other mechanical parts. It’s greasy, loud, and can get quite hot in the afternoons. But that’s what we do. The floor is usually covered with parts waiting to be finished or shipped out. We have a few machines running most of the time. The guys here know their stuff when it comes to metal and measurements. We don't have a fancy reception area because most of our visitors are people coming to pick up an order or deliver raw materials. Ambattur is a long way from the city center, but it’s where all the making happens. We’ve been here for years, and the shop hasn't changed much. We just keep the tools sharp and the machines oiled. It’s a practical business. We don't make big promises, we just show people what we've made and if they like it, they buy it. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them, that's just part of the routine. We are a small group of people who just like working with our hands and making things that work. It’s satisfying to see a pile of raw metal turn into something useful by the end of the week.
