Omega Green Foods & Ingredients

Our office is up on the fourth floor of Akash Complex, room 406. It’s right near the Municipal Market on C.G. Road, which is a pretty lively part of the city. Omega Green Foods & Ingredients is where we handle the paperwork side of the food business. We don't have a farm here or a factory; it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of phone calls. We deal with various ingredients that go into food products. My desk is usually covered in samples and spec sheets. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples arriving at once. The elevators in this building can be slow, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and making sure the logistics are moving. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see anything being manufactured. It’s more about the coordination. We have a small pantry where we make coffee, and that’s usually where the best conversations happen. We’ve been in this building for a while now, and we know the other tenants pretty well. It’s a regular office environment. We wear casual clothes most days unless we have someone important coming in. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just focus on getting the right ingredients to the right places. It keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
