Trimurti Spinners

Trimurti Spinners is based at Plot No. 11 in Vijay Estate, within the Ambicanagar area. We are in the business of spinning yarn, which is a lot more complicated than it sounds. The machines are old but we keep them in good shape by oiling them every morning. The whole building vibrates when they are all running at the same time. You can feel it in your feet. We have rows and rows of bobbins spinning around and it can be a bit dizzying if you look at them for too long. We have a lot of cotton lint flying around, so we all wear masks to keep from breathing it in. It is not the cleanest job, but it is what we know how to do. We don't have any big corporate mission or anything like that. We just want to make sure the thread is strong and doesn't have too many knots in it. Our customers are mostly local weavers who have been buying from us for a long time. They know we are at Plot 11 and they just drop by when they need more stock. We have a small bench outside under a tree where we sit and talk during our breaks. It is a decent place to work and we all get along well enough. Sometimes a belt on a machine breaks and we have to scramble to fix it, but that is just part of the daily routine.
