D.J. Bearing & Safety Wear

Our shop is at Number 10 in Jwalini Chamber. We are right across the street from the fire station, so it's a landmark that's hard to miss. At D.J. Bearing & Safety Wear, we keep a lot of different things in stock. One side of the shop is mostly boxes of bearings in every size you can think of, and the other side has helmets, gloves, and boots. It’s a bit of a mix, but it makes sense for the workers who come to see us. The place is usually a bit crowded with boxes because we don't have a huge storage area. We try our best to keep track of everything on the shelves, but sometimes we have to dig around to find a specific part number. We’re just a small team of local folks working here. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the people who work in the nearby factories have what they need to stay safe and keep their machines running. Sometimes the fire trucks across the road make a lot of noise when they go out on a call, which usually pauses our conversations for a minute. We’ve been in this chamber for several years now. It’s a practical sort of place. If you come in with a broken bearing, we’ll do our best to find a match, even if it takes a bit of time to search through the inventory. We just do the best we can with what we have.
