Maruti Industries

Kathwada GIDC has grown a lot lately. Our place, Maruti Industries, is located over at Plot No. 550 on Road No. 13. It is a straight enough shot once you get off the main road, though the dust can be something else during the dry months. We spend most of our time out on the floor. There is always something that needs fixing or a machine that needs a bit of oil. We do not spend much time sitting behind desks. Our team is local, mostly people from the nearby areas who know how to work hard. It’s loud in the workshop when everything is running at once, but that is the sound of work getting done. We have been at this location for some time now. Sometimes the power goes out or a delivery gets delayed, but we just figure it out. That is how things go in an industrial estate like this. We do not have any big corporate slogans hanging on the walls. We just have our tools and our schedules. Road No. 13 stays pretty busy with trailers and small tempos moving parts around. We keep the gates open most of the day because of the heat. It is a simple setup at Plot 550, but it works for us. We keep things moving and try to stay ahead of the orders that pile up on the clipboard. Everyone here knows their job and we just get it done.
