Working at Inspiron Engineering Pvt. Ltd. means dealing with the constant noise of Odhav Road. We are situated at Survey No. 320, which is really close to the GIDC Odhav area. It is a busy spot, and there is always a lot of movement with all the factories nearby. Our building is pretty standard for this part of town. We spend a lot of our time looking at technical drawings and trying to figure out the best way to put things together. It is not always easy, and sometimes we run into problems that take all day to solve. The workshop has a specific smell of cut metal and coolant that you get used to after a week or so. We do not have any fancy lobby or a person waiting at the door to greet you. Usually, you will just find one of us walking across the floor with a wrench or a clipboard. The parking out front is a bit tight, especially if the neighbors have a delivery. We try to keep our area clean, but engineering is a messy business by nature. Most of us have been here long enough that we do not even notice the trucks rumbling by anymore. It is just where we come to get our work done and earn a living. We keep the kettle going for tea in the morning, which is about as much of a luxury as we get.
