This mill is also located at Tirupati Park on Street Number 3, right behind Alay Park. We share the same general area as the besan mill, but here we focus more on general flour. It’s a different kind of dust in the air here—whiter and finer. The machines have a specific rhythm to them that you get used to after a few hours. We spend most of our time at Odhav Flour Mill making sure the grain is clean before it goes into the rollers. It’s not a high-tech facility with computers everywhere. It’s mostly belts, pulleys, and heavy stones doing the work. We keep the doors open for some air, which means we see everyone passing by on the street. Rajkot has a lot of these small industrial pockets, and Tirupati Park is one of them. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill in the state. We just want to make sure the flour we produce is good enough for the local kitchens. Some days are long, especially when a big shipment of wheat arrives and we have to unload it all by hand. We’re a small team, and we mostly just talk about the weather or local news while we work. It’s a steady life, and we like the honest work of it. The machines can be loud but we don't mind much.
