If you drive down towards Changodar, you’ll find us at Survey No. 252. We are right opposite the IOCL petrol pump, which makes it easy to tell people where we are located. It’s a dusty stretch of road with a lot of heavy trucks passing by all the time. Our place is basically a large industrial unit where we keep all the machinery. It’s got high ceilings and those big rolling shutters that we pull up first thing in the morning. The air smells like grease and cold metal most of the time. We spend our days putting machines together or fixing ones that have issues. It’s heavy work, so there’s a lot of lifting and moving things around with the crane we have. The office part is just a small cabin partitioned off with some glass, so we can see what’s happening on the floor while we deal with the bills. We don't have fancy furniture or a coffee machine in there. We just have a water cooler and a few chairs for when someone comes to visit. Most of the day is spent checking parts and making sure the bolts are tight. It’s loud and it can get pretty hot in the summer months, but we are used to it. We just focus on the machines and making sure they do what they are supposed to do for people.
