Nova Engineering Works

Nova Engineering Works is over at number 28 in the Gajanand Industrial Estate in Rakhial. It’s a local spot near the Gujarat area, and it’s very much a traditional engineering workshop setup. Machines that have been with us for years still run just fine today. The estate itself is quite crowded, which makes parking a bit of a nightmare if you arrive late in the morning. Usually, our shop is a bit dark and smells like oil and metal, which is how an engineering place should be. We don’t have a fancy website or a person to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If you call, you’ll probably just talk to whoever is closest to the phone at the time. Custom work for local businesses and factories takes up most of our time. The guys here are good with their hands and don’t care much for office politics or fancy titles. Fixing things and making parts that work is what we like to do. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job if a neighbor is in a bind. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. There is a lot of history in this estate, and we’re just one part of it. We keep things simple, focus on the machines, and try to do right by the people who come to us. Rakhial is a tough area but it’s where we belong.
