Nishan Electric

Nishan Electric is at number 1 in Sukhram Chambers. We are located right opposite Narayan Nagar on National Highway No 8. This is in the Bapunagar area. Being on a national highway means things are always moving fast outside. Inside our shop, it is a bit different. We have rows and rows of electrical parts on the shelves. There are wires of every color and bulbs of all sizes. Sukhram Chambers is a busy building with other shops too. We have been here for a long time. The floor is made of old stone and it stays cool even when it is hot outside. We don't have a computerised system for everything. We still use a big paper ledger to keep track of some things. It is just easier for us. People from the nearby houses in Bapunagar come to us for all sorts of things. Sometimes they just need a single fuse or a bit of advice on a ceiling fan. We don't mind the small jobs. The noise from the trucks on Highway 8 is like background music to us now. We don't even notice it anymore. We drink our tea in small glasses from the vendor who walks by. Nishan Electric is a simple place for simple needs. We don't have a big corporate mission. We just open the shop and help the people who walk in. That is how it has been for years at Sukhram Chambers.
