Our place is right across from Anupam Theater in Maninagar. It’s a pretty busy area, especially when a movie is letting out. We’ve been working with bakelite and plastic parts here at Nirbhay Bakelite for a long time. The workshop can get a bit noisy with the machines running, but that’s just part of the job. We make all sorts of components that people use in other machines. It’s dusty work sometimes. Most of us here have been doing this for years, so we know the smell of the materials and the sound of the presses by heart. Maninagar is a good spot for us, everything we need is close by. We don’t really do anything flashy. We just take orders, set up the molds, and get the parts made. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing a machine, which is frustrating but it happens. We try to stay on schedule, though some days are smoother than others. People around here know the building, so it’s easy for folks to drop by if they need to talk about a specific part. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a solid business and we take it one day at a time. The office is small and usually has samples sitting on every available surface. That’s just how we operate. It's nothing special but it's what we do.
