Niraj Optical Machinery

Our place, Niraj Optical Machinery, is located right at Plot No.4 in the Keshav Industrial Estate. It’s a busy spot, especially being right opposite the Vatva Railway Station in G.I.D.C. Phase-Ii. You can hear the trains passing by all day while we work on the optical machines. We focus on the equipment people need for making glasses and other optical lenses. It’s precise work, but our workshop looks like a regular industrial space with grease and metal shavings. Most of our customers are from the optical trade who need their grinders or polishers maintained. We’ve been in Vatva for a good amount of time and seen the industrial estate grow. Getting here is easy because of the station, which helps when people need to drop off a machine for repair. Sometimes it gets crowded in the workshop when we have multiple units pulled apart, but we know where every screw goes. We don't spend money on glossy brochures. We just focus on the machines sitting on the benches. My team knows these optical tools inside out. We spend most of our time troubleshooting why a lens isn't cutting right or fixing a motor that gave out. It’s steady work. We open early and stay until the last job is done. The G.I.D.C. area is full of businesses like ours, and we just try to do our part well. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do best.
