If you find yourself behind the Kaveri Complex in the Keshav Nagar area, you’ll find us in Janki Apartment. We are at B/11. Subhas Bridge is the big landmark nearby, and anyone in Ahmedabad knows how busy that area can get. The heat here in the middle of the day is no joke, so we mostly keep the curtains drawn to stay cool. The apartment setup makes Neilsoft feel more like a home than an office. We have a small kitchen area where the kettle is always running. Sometimes the neighbor’s cat wanders onto the balcony and just stares at us while we work. It’s a quiet building for the most part, except for when the school bus drops the kids off downstairs. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the walls are filled with random notes and old calendars. It’s a bit cluttered, honestly. Mishal Shreyansh Shah keeps things moving, but we all just sort of pitch in. The walk from the main road isn't too bad, though you have to watch out for the puddles when the monsoon finally hits. It’s a very grounded way to work. No big boardrooms, just a few tables pushed together and the sound of the ceiling fans. It suits us fine. Ahmedabad has a way of making you feel busy but relaxed at the same time, and our little spot in Janki Apartment is no different.
