Our operation is spread across Blocks 345, 348, and 349 in the Changodar Industrial Estate. It is a large area to cover, and we spend a lot of time walking between the different sections. Changodar is known for being a major industrial zone, so we are surrounded by all kinds of manufacturing businesses. The road leading up to our block is often dusty and filled with tankers and freight carriers. Inside, the environment is strictly for work. We have large metal doors that stay open during the day to let in some air. The machinery takes up most of the floor space, leaving just enough room for the forklifts to maneuver. We keep our supplies stacked high on heavy-duty racking to stay organized. It is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. The staff here at Negri Bosso (India) Pvt. Ltd. knows exactly where every tool and component is kept. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just a few old calendars on the walls and some safety signs that have seen better days. The work is repetitive but it requires a lot of attention to detail. We usually have a short break in the middle of the afternoon to grab a snack and talk about things other than work. It is a gritty, loud, and busy place, but it is where we do our daily tasks. We don't try to make the shop look like a showroom because that is just not our style.
