We are based in Block Numbers 345, 348, and 349 within the Changodar Industrial Estate. Having three blocks gives us a fair amount of room to move around, though it still feels crowded when a big shipment arrives. Changodar is a massive hub, and there is always a line of trucks waiting at the main entrance of the estate. Our daily routine is pretty standard. We open up early, check the logs from the previous shift, and get the power running. The walls in the blocks are painted a dull grey, and the floors have the usual marks from heavy machinery being positioned. We don't go in for anything fancy like glass partitions or carpeted floors. It is a work site, through and through. The noise from the surrounding factories blends into a constant hum that you only notice when it stops at the end of the day. We have a small office tucked into one corner of Block 345 where the paperwork gets handled, but most of us prefer being out where the action is. The lighting isn't great, so we use a lot of floor lamps and overhead strips to see what we are doing. It is a busy place, and the pace can be quite fast when we have deadlines. Still, we make sure to take our breaks and keep things moving at a speed we can handle. It is just the way we have always done things here at Negri Bossi (India) Pvt. Ltd.
