Neelkanth Engineering Industries

We are over at Plot No.B-1/90/6A in the G.I.D.C. area of Vatva. Neelkanth Engineering Industries has been part of this industrial zone for a while, right near the Neeka Tube Cross Road. Being in Phase-I means we are surrounded by other factories and shops, so it’s always active. Our place is full of raw materials and half-finished projects. It might look messy to some, but we know exactly where everything is. We don't have a polished front office with a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, one of us wipes our hands on a rag and goes out to meet them. We make various engineering components and handle a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. The heat in Vatva can be pretty intense during the summer, which makes the shop floor a bit tough to work on, but we keep going. We don't really do much advertising. Most of our work comes from being here a long time and knowing the people around the estate. We handle our own repairs on the machines and try to keep overheads low. It’s a honest way to earn a living, even if we go home covered in oil most nights. We just focus on the orders we have and try to keep the machines humming. Dealing with the paperwork is the boring part, but it has to be done to keep things legal.
