Our business is based in the Shahibaug area of Ahmedabad. We are at unit number 4 in Shastri Laghu Udyognagar, which is located near the Maheswari Mills in Tavdi Pura. This neighborhood is full of small industries and warehouses, so it’s a very busy and sometimes dusty place. Our workspace is essentially a large room where we handle the packing and sorting of all the goods we export. It is a very functional setup with high ceilings and concrete floors, meant for moving boxes and crates around. We don't have a corporate office with glass partitions; it’s just a practical spot for doing the work. There are a few of us here who manage the heavy lifting and the paperwork that goes with it. The road outside is always crowded with trucks coming and going from the mills, so it can get a bit loud. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while, and we know the other business owners on the block. Our day usually starts pretty early to get the shipments ready for the afternoon pickups. We don’t spend much time on advertising or fancy signs. Most of our work comes from people who already know where we are. We just focus on making sure the items are packed correctly and the labels are right. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big order to finish, but we just get on with it and get the job done.
