Nath Seeds Ltd.

Our office is at Chateeau Windsor on Veer Nariman Road. It’s a classic old building in the Churchgate area. Being at number 86 means we’re right in the middle of all the South Mumbai action. We work with seeds, which might seem a bit funny being in such a busy city center, but this is where all our admin and paperwork happens. The ceilings are high and the windows are big, letting in some light. We can hear the traffic and the trains from the station nearby throughout the day. Most of our day is spent talking to people on the phone or writing letters. We have stacks of paperwork about crop yields and different seasonal varieties sitting on the desks. It’s an old-school way of working, but it suits us fine. The elevator in this building is quite old and sometimes acts up, so we often just take the stairs to our floor. We've been in this spot for a long time. The street outside is always full of people rushing to work or catching trains. We just do our bit from our desks and keep the files organized. It’s not a farm, obviously, but we know a lot about what grows in the ground. Sometimes we get small samples in the mail, so there are little bags of seeds sitting around. We just keep the business running from this corner of Churchgate. It's a steady place with plenty of history in these walls.
