The shop is on Narol Road, right across from K. D. House. If you drive by, you will see large panes of glass leaning against the walls. It is a dusty place because of the road traffic and the cutting process. We spend our time measuring and trying not to break anything. Glass is heavy and awkward to move, so there is a lot of lifting involved. We have some old machines for smoothing edges, and they make a constant whirring sound. The floor has a lot of small bits of glass that we have to sweep up all the time. It is not a place for fancy shoes. We’ve been at this location for a good while and the building shows its age a bit. There is a small desk where we keep the ledger and the measuring tapes. It gets very bright in here during the afternoon when the sun hits the front windows. Narol Road is always loud with trucks, so we have to speak up to be heard. We don't have a sales team or a showroom. What you see is just the workshop where the glass gets prepared. It’s hard work and it makes your arms tired, but it’s what we do every day from morning until the shutters go down. Sometimes we run out of tape or small supplies, but there is always a shop nearby to grab what we need.
