Harekrishna Engineers

Harekrishna Engineers is at number 30 in the Adinath Industrial Estate. We are right behind the Krishna Gopal Estate and quite near the Torent Power Sub Station on Menco Naroda Road. Being so close to the power station is a good landmark for people trying to find our shop. We are a small engineering outfit. We do a lot of repairs and custom metal work for people in the Naroda area. The shop is filled with the smell of welding and the sound of grinders. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear nice clothes. We have a few old machines that we’ve maintained ourselves over the years. We don't have a marketing department or a sales team. People just know us because we’ve been in this estate for a long time. The work is hard and it gets very hot in the workshop, especially in the afternoons. We usually take a break when the sun is at its peak. We aren't trying to be some massive industrial firm. We like being a small shop where we can talk directly to the customers about what they need. Sometimes we have to hunt for parts that aren't made anymore, which takes up a lot of time. It’s a lot of manual labor and problem-solving. We just show up, do the repairs, and make sure things are working right before we lock up the gate at night.
