Manish Engineering Works

Manish Engineering Works has been based at Plot No. 1305/2 for quite a long time now. We are located in Phase-4 of the Gidc area. It’s a straightforward engineering shop without any of the bells and whistles you see in newer places. We don't do anything flashy or complicated. Mostly, we just take orders for various machine parts and get them finished on the lathes. The morning usually starts with a hot cup of tea and a quick discussion about the day's schedule. Sometimes the power goes out in Gidc without any warning, and we just have to sit and wait it out. It’s just part of the life here in the industrial zone. The floor is made of thick concrete and it’s stained with oil from years of work. We actually prefer it that way because it shows the place is being used for real labor. Clients come by the shop, we talk about the technical specs, and then they leave us to get on with it. We keep our ledger in a wooden drawer that sticks every time you try to open it. It’s a bit of a nuisance, but we’re used to it. We don’t have a website or a big sign. People in the area just know who we are and what we do. We just keep our heads down and finish the work.
