Mahavir Plastic is tucked away at Plot No. C1/39/9a in Phase-3 of the Gidc area. Unlike some of the bigger plants, we operate from a more compact space, but we make it work. The smell of melting plastic is pretty much constant around here, but you stop noticing it after the first ten minutes. We’ve got a few molding machines that run pretty much all day long. They’re older models, but they are reliable as long as you keep them oiled and clean. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. It's just us, working the shifts and making sure the parts come out without too many defects. Sometimes a hopper gets jammed and we have to stop everything to clear it out, which is a pain, but it's just part of the routine. The office is just a desk and a couple of chairs tucked into a corner near the front door. We keep our records in physical files mostly, because it’s easier than dealing with software that crashes. Most of the people working here have been friends for a long time. We look out for each other. When the weather gets really hot, we take a few extra breaks near the big fans. We aren't trying to change the world; we just make plastic items and try to do a decent job of it every day.
