Sanity International

Our warehouse is number 119 in the Lalit Ware House complex. We are in the Narol-Sarkhej area of Ahmedabad. It’s a big industrial hub, so there are trucks everywhere and a lot of dust in the air. Sanity International operates out of a space that is mostly for storage and moving goods. It’s a big, high-ceilinged room with racks going up the walls. We spend the day loading and unloading or checking the inventory lists. It’s not the kind of place where you’d come to have a fancy meeting. We have a small table and a few plastic chairs near the door for when we need to sign paperwork. The noise from the Narol road is constant, but you stop hearing it after a while. It’s a practical setup. We don't have any paintings on the walls or nice carpets. The floor is grey stone and gets swept every evening. It’s hard work, especially when the weather in Ahmedabad gets really hot. We drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade of the warehouse. Being in Narol means we are close to all the transport links, which makes the logistics side of things much easier. We just focus on getting the crates out on time and making sure the counts are right. It’s a no-nonsense environment for sure. We show up, do the lifting, and go home when the trucks are gone.
