Laxmi Food Product

Down at Plot No. 907/4 in Phase 4 of the Gidc, you’ll find us at Laxmi Food Product. It’s a different vibe than the machine shops nearby because of the smells coming from our kitchen area. We’ve been working out of this space for a while now, focusing on making things that people actually want to eat. It’s a lot of work keeping everything clean and following all the rules, but we take it seriously. We aren’t some massive factory with robots; it’s mostly just us doing the packing and prep by hand. The mornings are our busiest time when the first batches are getting started. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just know where we are in Phase 4. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the driveway because it’s a bit tight, but we make it work. We started small and stayed that way because we like being able to see everything that’s going on. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we’re more like a family than a company. We don't spend money on ads or big signs. If the food is good, people find out about us eventually. That’s how we’ve always done it here at our little corner of the Gidc, just making products we are happy to send out.
