Hardik Industries

Running a place like Hardik Industries out of Shop No.4 on Kathwada Road keeps us pretty busy from morning until evening. We are right near Sundervan Society and just across from Vyaswadi, so there is always a lot of movement and noise in this part of Naroda. Most days start with us rolling up the shutter and sweeping the dust off the front step before the sun gets too high. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. People from the neighborhood stop by often, sometimes just to say hello while they are on their way to the market. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who have been together for a while now. The traffic on Kathwada Road can be a real headache in the afternoons, especially when the heavy trucks are moving, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of it. We handle all the work ourselves, from taking orders to packing things up. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we run behind schedule when a machine breaks down, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, and most of the other shopkeepers around here are like family to us. We don’t go in for anything flashy or complicated. We just focus on what’s in front of us and try to do a decent job so people come back next time.
