Naresh Furniture Mart and the engineering side have been sitting here opposite the Master Petrol Pump for quite a while now. We spend most of our days dealing with sawdust and the sound of machines running just outside Shahpur Gate. It’s a busy spot, and the traffic near the gate can be a headache sometimes, but it’s where we do our work. Some people come in looking for a table or a cupboard, while others need something more technical from the engineering side of things. We aren't a big fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of the time, our clothes are a bit dusty from the wood or the metal we are cutting. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we just keep at it. My father started things out, and now we just carry on the same way, making sure things are sturdy. People know where to find us in Shahpur. We don’t spend money on big ads or anything like that. If you need something fixed or made, you just walk in and talk to us. We’ve got the regular tools and a couple of old machines that still run better than the new ones. It’s a simple setup, really. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see what needs to be done for the day. It’s not always quiet, but it’s good honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
