Nalins Technologies

Our place at Nalins Technologies is on the 5th street of Dr Subarayan Nagar in Kodambakkam. It is one of those typical Chennai streets that is quite narrow, so you have to be careful when you are driving down it. The building is number 12, and we have been here for a good amount of time. Inside, it is mostly rows of desks with monitors and a lot of tangled cables running along the floor. We do a lot of technical troubleshooting and software work here. The air conditioning is almost always running because it gets so hot in Kodambakkam, especially during the summer months. We have a small break area where the water filter is, and that is usually where people stand to talk about their weekend. It is not a very formal place. Most of us wear jeans and t-shirts to work. Sometimes the internet goes a bit slow when it rains, which can be frustrating, but we just manage. We have a few old servers in the corner that hum constantly, which becomes a kind of white noise after a while. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it feels peaceful compared to the main roads. We get our lunch from the small mess down the road most days. It is just a regular group of people working on technology in a quiet part of the city, trying to keep up with the daily list of tasks.
