Mona Sugar Candy Works

We are located in Old Madhupura, right across from Ramdev Masala and just outside Delhi Gate. Mona Sugar Candy Works has been in this neighborhood for a good while, and it’s a fairly cramped part of the city. The streets get narrow around here, but it’s where we do all our work. We mostly deal with sugar, boiling it down and shaping it into the different candies that people buy. It’s a sticky job, to be honest. You end up with sugar on your shoes and clothes by the end of the shift. The building itself is older, which is typical for this part of Madhupura. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that; it’s mostly just the production area and where we store the bags of sugar. We keep the machines running throughout the day, and you can usually hear the noise from the street outside. Being near Delhi Gate means there’s always traffic and people moving about, so it’s never really quiet around the shop. We’ve learned how to work in the space we have, even if it gets a bit tight when we have a lot of inventory to move. We don't do much in the way of advertising or promotion. Most people know where we are because we’ve been here so long. It’s just a basic operation where we make candy and try to keep up with the daily orders coming in from the market.
