Mohan Trading Co.

Mohan Trading Co. is located near the Satlaj Hotel, which is a pretty well-known spot around Naroda. We are right opposite the Bhagat Petrol Pump, so it is easy for people to find us when they are driving by. I started working here because I like being around the bustle of this area. It gets noisy with the traffic from the main road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We handle all sorts of trading goods, and our warehouse space stays pretty full. Some mornings are slow, and we just sit and have tea while waiting for the first customer. Then, all of a sudden, three trucks might show up at once and everyone has to start moving fast. It is a bit unpredictable, but that’s just how the trading business works in Naroda. We don’t have any polished sales pitches. We just show people what we have in stock and tell them the price. If they like it, we load it up. My cousin helps me with the paperwork, though his handwriting is sometimes hard to read. We’ve been in this spot for several years now, and we know the guys at the petrol pump quite well. We often help each other out if someone needs a hand with something. It is a decent way to make a living. The office is small, but it does the job. We keep things straightforward here.
