Modern Investment Cast Industries

We are located out in the Kathawada G.I.D.C. area. Specifically, you’ll find us at Plot No. 11 on Road No. 1/A. It’s a typical industrial zone where everyone is busy doing their own thing. Modern Investment Cast Industries is what we call ourselves, though to us, it’s just the place where we spend most of our waking hours. The roads around here are wide enough for the big trucks, which is lucky because there are always deliveries coming and going at odd hours. Our workshop is a bit loud and messy sometimes, but that’s the nature of investment casting. We have a routine that we follow every day. It starts with tea and a quick look at what’s on the schedule. We don't use a lot of complicated software to run things; we prefer lists and notebooks. It’s more reliable that way. The sun hits the roof pretty hard in the middle of the day, making the shop floor quite warm. We have a small office tucked in the corner where the phone rings more often than we’d like. We try to be helpful when people call with questions. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here. If you need to speak with the owner, he’s usually out on the floor with his sleeves rolled up helping out. We’ve been part of this industrial estate for years and have seen plenty of businesses come and go, but we just keep doing our thing and staying busy.
