Metro Engineering

Metro Engineering is at 64, Umiya Estate. We are near Union Estate and the Rajendra Park Char Rasta in Rakhial. Rakhial is a very busy part of the city, especially near the crossroads. There’s always someone honking or a truck trying to turn. Our workshop in Umiya Estate is where we spend all our time. It is a standard engineering shop with lathes, drills, and plenty of scrap metal in the corners. We don’t have a big staff, just a few guys who know their way around the machines. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the area change around us. The building is a bit worn, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that doesn't affect the work we do. We focus on the jobs that come in, whether they are small repairs or larger parts that need making. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just take the drawings or the broken parts and we fix them or make new ones. It’s a loud place to work, but we are used to it. Most of our clients are other local businesses who know they can just drop by and talk to us. We don't have a marketing plan or a sales team. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a long time and we know our trade well. It keeps us going every day.
