META PHOTO

Meta Photo is over at Plot No.15 in the GIDC area on Odhav Road. We are quite close to the C.M.C. building. Our place isn't like those modern photography studios you see in the mall. It’s more of a practical workspace where we handle a lot of technical and commercial photo work. We’ve got cameras, lights, and a lot of cords running across the floor. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space for everything, but we make it work. We've been at this location for years, and the Odhav Road traffic is something we've just learned to live with. We don't do much in the way of promotion. People usually find us because they need something specific done and heard we could do it. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just take photos and process them. Some days the lighting is tricky or the equipment acts up, and we have to spend time fixing things instead of shooting. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us here making sure the job gets done. We keep things informal. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-project with stuff scattered everywhere. We just focus on the images and making sure they come out clear. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way.
