Mercantile Exports & Imports

We are located at No. 106 on Bazaar Road in St. Thomas Mount. This is an old part of the city, and Bazaar Road is always full of life. There are shops everywhere and people are always walking back and forth. Our building is one of the older ones in the area. We deal with exports and imports, so we have a lot of paperwork and ledgers on our desks. There are always files stacked up. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the numbers match. Sometimes we have to go down to the docks, but mostly we are here in the office. The street outside is very narrow, and it’s hard for big vehicles to pass through. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long. We have a small balcony where we can see the street below. It is a good place to take a break and watch the crowds. The office doesn't have air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that hum all day. It gets quite humid here, but we have lived in the city long enough that we don't really notice it much. We know most of the people who work in the nearby shops. It is a friendly neighborhood even if it is a bit chaotic. We just do our business in a simple way without any fuss. It’s been our home for years.
