Our office is over at Sapphire Complex, which is on Old Padra Road, right near the Tube Company. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of town, so people don’t usually have trouble finding us. We’re up in unit 204. The building is usually buzzing with people going to different offices. We’ve been set up here for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent dealing with power-related projects and making sure all the technical details are correct. It’s not the most exciting work to talk about, but it keeps us busy. We have a small team, and we’ve all been working together long enough that we don’t need to say much to know what needs to be done. The view from the window is just the street and other buildings, nothing fancy. We get a lot of sun in the afternoons, so it stays pretty bright in here. Sometimes the traffic on Old Padra Road gets backed up, especially during the evening rush hour, so we try to time our departures to avoid the worst of it. We don’t really do big presentations or anything like that. We just focus on the technical side of things and handle the day-to-day tasks as they come. It’s a practical workspace for people who just want to get their work finished and go home to their families. We usually keep some snacks in the drawer for when the afternoon hunger hits.
