Max Engineers

Max Engineers is tucked away over by Rare Acrylic. We've been doing this for a while, mostly focusing on the engineering side of things. Our workspace is usually a mess of tools and half-finished parts, but we know where everything is. It’s not the kind of place you’d bring a camera for a magazine, but it’s where the real work happens. We take on whatever jobs come through the door, some big and some small. There are days when the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait, but usually, the machines are humming along. We don't spend much money on decorating the front office. Instead, we put that into the equipment we use every day. It’s just a handful of us here, and we’ve worked together long enough that we don't need to say much to get things done. Sometimes the floor gets a bit slick with oil, so you have to watch your step. We aren't interested in being the most famous shop in town, just one that does a solid job. People find us mostly by word of mouth or because they saw our sign near the acrylic shop. It’s a simple life, working with our hands and making sure the measurements are as close as they can be. Every now and then we have a slow day, but that just gives us time to clean the benches and sharpen the bits. We’re just regular folks doing engineering work.
