Manu Engineering Work. is tucked into 36/37 Satnam Estate on Nagarvel Hanuman Road in Amraiwadi. This area is full of workshops and small factories, so there’s always the sound of metal hitting metal and engines running. Our shop is a busy place. We’ve got the units 36 and 37 filled with lathes, drills, and all sorts of bits and pieces. It’s oily and loud, exactly what you’d expect from an engineering shop. Most of us have grease under our fingernails by ten in the morning. We take on whatever repair or fabrication work comes through the door. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We mostly wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. The light in the estate isn't the best, so we have some extra lamps around the machines. We’ve been on Nagarvel Hanuman Road for a long time, and we know the other shop owners nearby. We often borrow tools or help each other out if a job is too big for one person. There’s a small desk in the corner where the bills get sorted, but most of the real work happens on the floor. It’s a simple life. We start early, work hard, and try to make sure everything we build or fix is solid. It’s just how things are done here in Amraiwadi.
