Mann Sign

Our place, Mann Sign, is situated right at Sanathal Cross. We are on the Bavla Sarkhej Highway, so it’s a very easy location to find. If you look across the road, you’ll see the NTN company and the big Mahindra showroom. We are right on the opposite side. Being near the highway means there is always a lot of wind and dust, so we build our signs to be strong. We mostly work with metal frames and heavy boards. We started this shop because we saw a lot of businesses needed better signs out here. It’s not a huge operation. We have a small shed where we keep the welding machine and the paints. Most of our work happens on the floor because the signs are often quite large. The traffic on the highway is constant, so we have gotten used to the noise of the trucks. Sometimes we have to work late when a customer needs a sign put up before their shop opens the next morning. We don’t have any marketing brochures. Our work is visible all along the highway, and that’s usually how people find us. We use basic materials that we know will last in the heat. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time measuring things twice to make sure we don't make mistakes. It’s just a normal workshop where we try to do a decent job every day. It keeps us busy and the bills paid.
