You can find us at Shed No.40 in the Radhe Industrial Estate. We’re located near the Nika Tube Chokdi, which is a major landmark in this area. Makharia Machineries is all about industrial equipment and parts. The shed is quite large, but it’s usually full of machinery that’s either just arrived or is getting ready to be shipped out. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have air conditioning in the main area, so it gets hot, and the air always smells a bit like iron and oil. We spend our days talking to factory owners and plant managers who need specific machines for their production lines. We aren't a corporate office with a dress code; we wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit dirty. Most of us here have worked in the industry for years, so we know the machines inside out. If a customer has a question, we can usually give them an answer based on our own experience rather than reading from a manual. The industrial estate is a busy place with trucks coming in and out all day long. We have a small corner with a couple of desks for the paperwork, but we’re usually out on the floor checking the stock. We don’t go for any flashy marketing. We just focus on being straightforward about what we have and what it can do. It’s a tough business sometimes, but we’ve built a good life here. We just try to be honest about the gear we sell.
